Maliko Kubota

Head Unicorn Wrangler

Maliko Kubota was born in Los Angeles, and moved to Tokyo, Japan at the age of 13 with her family. After 7 years living in Japan, she returned to the U.S. to attend Mount Holyoke College, and moved back to L.A. in 2012. After a brief sojourn as a restaurant manager, and with a background in the visual arts, she made a career shift to managing visual art galleries, working with such artists as Tracy Adams, Justin Bower, Damon Martin, and Chaz Guest. As an art gallery manager, she had the opportunity to liaise with artists, collectors, art fairs, and other galleries internationally.

With the advent of COVID and the shift away from in-person work and events, she saw an opportunity to work with the Laudable Productions team. Maliko is excited to be joining the Laudable team, combining her love of the arts and her diverse skill set to bringing music and life into the lives and homes of people around the world.
