Explosive blues-rock trio GA-20 is leading a long-overdue trad-blues revival. Fronted by guitarist Matt Stubbs, a veteran of legendary blues master Charlie Musselwhite’s touring band, they are disciples at the crossroads of traditional blues, country, and rock. They’ve topped the Billboard Blues Charts to be sure, but on stage, where it really matters, they plug in and deliver tight and propulsive performances with a punk energy reminiscent of The Ramones. GA-20 creates an unvarnished, ramshackle blues that is at once traditional and refreshingly modern.

Opening the night is Troy Gonyea, a former member of The Fabulous Thunderbirds and the Booker T. (MG’s) Jones band among many others. Troy is a distinguished and respected blues guitarist and general maniac. His remarkable musical journey as a distinguished guitarist/sideman has earned him the inheritance of deep roots blues.
