Dear Music Lovers,

Back at the beginning of March, we cancelled all of our Spring programming and a thick cloud of uncertainty settled over the prospect of presenting music during the Summer and Fall. As of this writing, we’re still not sure what the Fall will bring — the situation with COVID-19 is extremely fluid — but we are happy and excited to find a narrow window in July and August for making musical hay while the sun is shining.

The Hemenway Barn at Valley View Farm in Haydenville is uniquely suited for gathering safely outside. The historic, open-air structure offers protection from rain while remaining exposed to fragrant hilltop breezes. There are beautiful views in all directions. The surrounding fields and patio offer additional seating, from which the music can be enjoyed with even greater spacing.

We are incredibly fortunate to have been invited by Valley View Farm’s owners to take up residency on the hilltop for the remainder of the Summer. Capacity is extremely limited, but we're determined to create opportunities for artists and audiences to reconnect in this intimate, safe, and idyllic setting.

Working in consultation with local and regional public health officials - as well as an international consortium of arts organizations and stage unions - we have developed strict protocols for maintaining the well-being of our artists, audience, and crew. We ask that you, our audience, share in the responsibility to mitigate risk and minimize spread by following the guidelines outlined on our website. We also insist that you remain at home if you feel unwell or exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19.
We fully understand that everyone’s situation and comfort with risk is different. Attending a live show, even outdoors and with a limited audience, may not feel comfortable for you just now. But staying home will not mean missing out — artists are still making music and we plan to bring it to your screens this Summer. In the coming days, we’ll be announcing a series of streamed events that you can enjoy from the comfort of your living room, backyard, or bathtub.

Socially Distant Seating Arrangements

This concert series takes place outdoors in an open-sided barn with unrestricted airflow,  situated on a breezy hilltop with panoramic views. Capacity is limited to 100 people and we have two different socially distant seating options:

Hemenway Barn - $60/Bench, Sold In Advance

There are 15 long benches in the barn, with ample space (at least six feet) between the rows and aisles. Each bench seats up-to five people who are in the same socially acclimated  "pod" or "bubble" (i.e. family members or friends who have connected during isolation). Each bench is sold as a single ticket, leaving the group size up to the discretion of the ticket holder. We strongly encourage you to reserve a bench in advance. Upon arrival, bench assignments are made on a first come, first served basis.

NOTE: If you purchase a ticket in advance but have health concerns or symptoms that arise prior to the show, we will happily issue a full refund. Please do not come to a concert if you are feeling unwell or exhibiting symptoms.

Patio & Field Seating - $20/Individual, Sold at the Door

The patio offers a plethora of outdoor seating options for groups and individuals. Visitors are also encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs so that they can enjoy the expansive fields that surround the barn. Patio/lawn tickets are sold individually and can only be purchased at the door. Children ages 5 and up will need a ticket. Since capacity is strictly limited, we encourage you to check our Facebook page before heading to the farm as we will post frequent updates about ticket availability.

New England weather is fickle. Please bring your umbrella in case of gentle showers as we will not be able to offer shelter in the barn.
