Ryan Caster is an impassioned music educator who has inspired student musicians from across the Pioneer Valley. A 2015 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Caster has directed choirs, bands and theatrical productions in several local school districts. Ryan’s love of music and the performing arts is infectious, fostering excitement and desire for excellence in his students and adult collaborators alike.

Currently serving as the Belchertown High School Director of Bands, a post he has held since 2019, Ryan is very active in the Massachusetts Music Educators Association (MMEA). He has served as the Clerk of the MMEA - Western District for the past eight years and managed the Western District Senior Band in 2018. Before joining the Bombyx Brass Collective, he had worked closely with The Valley Winds as their Vice President from 2015 to 2017.
