Krisheena Suarez is a singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur based in Tulsa, OK. At the early age of 4, Krisheena was introduced to an array of music styles, including R&B, Hip Hop, Gospel, Soul, Neo-Soul, Pop, and Rock. Through her teenage years, she studied Opera, Jazz, and Musical Theater, catapulting her vocal and music abilities, which lead her to attend the University of Tulsa for musical theater performance and acting. Alongside her husband Davonte “iamDES'' Suarez (Hip Hop MC, producer, and songwriter) Krisheena co-owns the music publishing company and independent record label, Suarez !nspired Republic, LLC. She has been featured on a number of musical works and has released original singles such as “Elephants In The Room '' featuring iamDES and “WOMAN,” later releasing her debut EP entitled TYS, Trust Your Spirit, which lead her to be named “Best R&B Newcomer” by the Black Wall Street Music Awards. In November 2020, she earned music placement in the BLERDS Web Series, Season 1 Soundtrack.
In January 2021, Krisheena released the hit single “Neon Lights,” featuring husband, iamDES and in May 2021, she earned a spot on the Motown Records released album Fire In Little Africa, singing the chorus of “Young and Free,” featuring iamDES, Written Quincey, and Chris The God MC McCain. Following featured performances through The Groundwaves program, created and hosted by legendary West Coast rapper Murs, Krisheena, alongside, iamDES earned a place in Tulsa’s official SXSW 2022 Showcase. Fans and audiences alike can anticipate a joint album release by Krisheena and iamDES entitled You Know What Love Is., giving audiences a glimpse of each artists’ perspective on being single, dating, the tale of love and war. Coming Fall of 2022.
