The Fiddle Orchestra of Western Massachusetts is an amateur orchestra made up mostly of fiddle players but also players of other instruments. The orchestra gives musicians the opportunity to play together as amateurs under the guidance of professional musicians in order to improve our skills, more deeply enjoy our hobby, nourish camaraderie, and share our enjoyment of music with the community. The Orchestra is a member-run non-profit managed by co-founder Becky Shannon.
