The Huntress and Holder of Hands is a band born out of grief, devotion, and determination. With layered compositions built on driving electric bass and drums, the band’s songwriter, MorganEve Swain (Brown Bird) exposes her heavy post-metal, blues and grunge-rock influences, even as they are tempered by intertwining vocals and the utilization of cello, viola and string bass. The band’s first album, Avalon, was self-released in 2017. A new record is in the works for 2023.
